The Sandpiper All Terrain Chair/ Beach Wheel Chair has all the features of the Sandcruiser® but is smaller to perfectly fit a young child or a smaller adult. It has smaller rear 42cm balloon wheels and a slightly smaller frame size and it is bright yellow!! The Sandpiper now has bigger front wheels at 30cm which makes it even easier to roll over super soft sand. You can go right into the sea or lake with the Sandpiper and when you go into deeper water it will float.

Enjoy beach days, beach walks and forest trails in your Sandpiper.

The Sandpiper’s upholstery is manufactured from marine grade acrylic canvas, is ‘UV’ stable fabricated to manufacturer’s recommendations.

All metal components are manufactured from 316L Stainless Steel
Metal surface finish electropolished to a mirror surface.
All tube 1.6 mm wall thickness marine grade Stainless Steel, which means it is tough!!
Seat height of 470 mm allows easy transfer of patient from chair to chair.
No special tools required to dismantle for transport, the use of 6mm drop nose pins and “R” clips make dismantle & reassembly effortless.
Fully adjustable leg rest with padded hinge protectors.
Anti tip/brake bar secures the chair in one procedure and also fitted a positive lock/release bar for added safety.
All assembly pins are secured to the main frame with 40Kg nylon coated stainless steel wire for added strength [note not fitted to rear axle "R"clips]
Wheeleez™ Low pressure tyres reduce the risk of penetration of sharp objects and produces a very smooth comfortable ride.
Upholstery is manufactured in “Docril” acrylic canvas which is mould, rot and salt water resistant. It is also U/V stable. Seating is fitted with quick release buckles for easy removal, i.e. cleaning etc.
A lap belt is fitted to secure the user in the chair. Additional thoracic belts can be purchased if required.

BodyPoint Narrow Rear Pull Stayflex Anterior Trunk Support without Zipper aligns the trunk over the pelvis, improves respiratory capacity, increases safe swallow, increases head control, maintains a good visual field, and improves overall pressure distribution. Stayflex Anterior Trunk Support is used to pull the forward shoulder back so that the trunk is aligned in the sagittal plane and the user can face forward without neck rotation for vision, swallowing, and breathing.
