The Emfit SafeBed is a state-of-the-art bed exit and occupancy monitor for fall and wandering prevention that consists of a monitoring device and under-mattress bed sensor. Safebed is specifically designed for individuals who are unable to summon for help such as those suffering from dementia.
The Emfit safebed™ bed occupancy Monitor is intended to be used for a person with Alzheimer's or dementia, for notifying the caregiver in the event that the person has left the bed or has not returned to it within a predefined time.
The shortest delay is set at 3 seconds to avoid false alarms. The delay is adjustable upto 60 minutes. This feature gives either quick time notification of a bed-exit or enables nurses to allow for a persons normal activities, such as going to the bathroom. The Emfit bed sensor is totally undectable as it is installed under the mattress.
The control unit has an audible notification with adjustable volume and dry-contact output for connection to nurse call or personal response systems.
Emfit Safebed1070 uses Emfit's patented, thin-film ferro-electret sensor. As Emfit sensirshave no embedded contact surfaces to fail, the sensors are durable and last for many years. Thin Emfit sensors are extemely sensitive and do not have any weight limits.
Safebed 1070 operates with 2 pcs 1.5V AA size alkaline batteries. Optionally a medical grade AC adapter is available.
Portable Receiver (BE 1033)
The portable receiver from Bellman & Symfon is part of the Visit smart home system that helps you to keep tabs on your home. It alerts you with a lights and sounds when the doorbell or telephone rings, when your baby needs you or if a fire should occur.

Bellman Telephone/Trigger Transmitter (BE1431)
A BE1431 transmitter is wired to the Emfit alarm output and this transmits to any Bellman receiver.
The BE1431 is powered by two 1.5V batteries.
